Windfall’s core loop is live: photograph a receipt, and the app reads the vendor, amount, and date automatically. No typing anything in by hand.

Each expense gets classified against HMRC’s allowable expense rules for your specific line of work, with the reasoning shown in plain language rather than just a category label. You confirm it or adjust it, and it’s done.

This is deliberately manual and AI-first for now rather than connected to a bank feed. The idea is to get the moment right first, receipt to record in seconds, before adding the complexity of automatic imports. Bank connection is on the roadmap once this foundation is solid.
